Social Media Reacts As Shocking Stories About Sexual Harassment In Schools Is Been Shared

Social media via Twitter was aggrieved on Monday as people trooped out to share their stories about sexual harassment in school. The #SREnow trended on Twitter and also convey people’s message. See more tweets below…

Meanwhile, the Everyday Sexism project has launched a new campaign for sex and relationship education (SRE) to be made compulsory in all schools.

In the hope to illustrate the need for such education, the project has been encouraging people to share their own personal experiences or approaches to harassment in school using the hashtag #SREnow.


However, the project's founder (of the Everyday Sexism Project Sarah Green and Rachel Krys,) - Laura Bates has also set up a petition to Justine Greening which has quickly gathered over 6,000 signatures.
