Google Announces New Features To Help You Stay Up-To-Date On The Rio Olympics

Earlier today, Google introduced new features and services for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.

The aim is for you to utilize Google Search and access all the latest information about the sporting event. You will be able to find out about things such as game schedules, teams and athletes, medal counts, etc. All you have to do is essentially sign up for the updates via the Google app for iOS and Android devices.

Don't forget that you can catch up by watching highlights of games and events from select providers and broadcasters across more than 60 countries on YouTube. On top of that, you can enjoy mobile live streams from 15 YouTube Creators who have been exclusively selected to cover the Olympic games.

Now, Google Street View also consists of features like highlights and landmarks across the city, too. Users can view and learn more about tourist destinations as well as Olympic venues.

Do you think Google are making a smart move to expand their services? Make sure you let us know about your view, and stay up-to-date on ALL the latest in the tech world by following us on any of our social media accounts, for free!
