Google To Merge Chrome OS And Android

While it’ll not come as a surprise to fans who have sure been marvelling at the idea of Google one day blending its Chrome and Android operating system. The Wall Street Journal is already reporting that that should be happening in the very near future, specifically through 2016.

The report states that Google Inc, now Alphabet has even been strategizing on that front, idea of folding Chrome OS into Android for two years now and come 2017 the public should expect a release of the resulting merged operating system.

Just like every other fan, you might also be thinking — could that be the end of Chrome OS? But Hiroshi Lockheimer the company’s Senior Vice President of Chrome OS, Chromecast and Android has communicated via a tweet of Mountain View’s lasting commitment to the cloud-based operating system. So it’s very much still be around.
