One Billion Users Now Use Messenger Every Month

  • Each month, 17 billion photos are sent and 1 billion messages pass between people and businesses. 
  • 380 million stickers and 22 million GIFs are sent each day and 10 percent of all VoIP calls go through Messenger. 
  • Messenger’s new platform now has 18,000 bots, and 23,000 developers have signed up for Facebook’s Wit.ai Bot Engine.
This feat by Messenger could further attract brands and developers to Messenger’s platform to ditch other competitors or SMS platforms challenging Facebook.
