US-based technology giant, Microsoft has announced the release of a new logo for Bing, its web search engine.
In the new logo, Microsoft switched its colour scheme to green as it “is easier to see over yellow” and “b” to upper case. The new logo will be used across various Microsoft apps and services.
According to Microsoft, Bing is the only search engine that is experiencing steady, consistent growth and have increased its share for 26 consecutive quarters.
With about 21% market share in the search market, Microsoft saw more than $1 billion in revenue last quarter. Also, Bing powers Yahoo, AOL, Apple Siri and few other popular services.
